This past weekend I headed over to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul so I could see the special exhibit LED rose garden they had setup at the Yigansu Exhibition Hall (outdoor park area). I had seen other people’s pictures of the garden and when I found out the exhibit was scheduled to close at the end of February I made sure to visit before the roses were taken out. To see the LED rose garden you need to go to the park on the side of the DDP. Since it is out in the open it is free to go to see the roses and take all the selfies you want.

I wonder if in Spring time they will plant some colorful LED roses

According to the website there are 22,550 LED roses planted in the garden area and from 7 to midnight each night you can view them. There is no charge since the exhibit is outdoors. There are many different areas around the park to walk around and view/take pictures of the roses. Most of the people enjoying the roses are either tourists or couples, but either way I think anyone would enjoy a visit while the exhibit is still showing.

Oh, no I’m so sorry to hear that. I saw the dates on the ddp website, but I know the roses are really popular so hopefully they keep them a while longer.
