So…we went to the Busan Fish Market. And it was filled with ALL kinds of fish. The Busan Fish Market is a huge indoor fish market (as you might have guessed from the name). Inside there are numerous small vendors selling a huge assortment of fresh sea food. From what I could tell most of the fish and other sea creatures were kept alive in small tanks and on plates. I think they do this so that the sea food is as fresh as possible.

You buy the sea food directly from vendors and you can either take it home or you can rent an area upstairs to cook up the sea food with some side dishes! In the future I will have to try this as it will probably be as fresh as you can get a sea food meal! As it happened we had a horrible lunch right before we visited the market and too full to eat any of the market’s offerings.

After perusing the fresh seafood you can go behind the market and see the hoards of seagulls that come to eat the seafood and snacks that people are feeding them.

I think the Busan Fish Market is a fun experience, unless you are sensitive to smell…because it smells of the sea! I can’t wait until I go back and get to eat some super fresh sea food!
