New Year’s Eve in Haeundae, Busan (Bonus Video!)

Cool guys don’t look up at their fireworks

This year Josh and I rang in the New Year in what has to be our favorite place in Korea, the beautiful Haeundae Beach. We did have to put in some desk warming hours at work but as soon as we were done we took the first available bus into Busan. After the subway ride in from the Busan bus station to Haeundae the first stop of the night was our favorite burger joint, Burger in New York (which I have already written a whole post about). After that we headed into the main street of Haeundae and played beer pong and hung out at Thursday Party (popular bar chain in Korea that has a bit of a frat house theme). Finally, with about 11 minutes to spare until the New Year, we ran down towards the beach, bought some fireworks off of a street vendor and then rang in 2015 by lighting off fireworks on the beach. IT WAS AMAZING. I somehow managed to film some of it, so enjoy the video and have a great 2015!

More pics of the night!
