As I mentioned in the post on decorating our Christmas tree, Josh and I would be doing Christmas a little outside of the box this year. In the shuffle to pack for Korea we decided against bringing our Christmas stockings. Since we were going to be celebrating this year with our friend Eunji in Seoul we decided that we needed to get some stockings. When looking for stockings on G-Market (Korea’s answer to Amazon, only you can also buy perishable groceries!) we were shocked at the prices….stocking that cost about $20 back home were going for around ₩50,000 (about $50). Fortunately, I stumbled upon these make your own stockings that only cost about $4 including shipping. So, we decided to get crafty and make our own stockings! Here is a timelapse video of the event, if you wait until the end you can see that really only one person took the decorating seriously…spoiler alert: it was me! I refused to stop decorating my stocking, even after the video was done I went back to the hot glue gun to add some more Christmas cheer!
