Bbobki…Korean Traditional Candy!

This past weekend Josh and I tried bbopki for the first time, and it was awesome! It is a traditional Korean candy made from brown sugar and baking soda. Don’t know how they make the stuff, but the end result is something hard and crunchy that tastes exactly like burnt marshmallows. I personally do not like burned marshmallows but Josh is the type who purposely burns all his marshmallows for s’mores. And, despite not particularly enjoying the taste of this candy I find it to be highly addictive.

Bbobpi....so yummy we had to stock up...and we ate these all in about a day...

The common form of bbopki is a circle with a design printed in the middle. Some vendors will even let you try to pick out the design with a toothpick and if you succeed you get a free bbopki!

Loved my Jack Skellington bbobki....but I still ate him
